Who would like to save some time and energy this Christmas, so you have more time to relax, open presents and slowly slip into a food coma? We would! Which is why we believe the best option to keep your Christmas guests refreshed and hydrated is to serve a deliciously delightful punch.
Daggy you say? Well punch doesn’t have to be served with the traditional ‘bowl and giant spoon’ (although we love a little retro throwback), there are many other serving options such as a large decorative jug or a trendy drinks dispenser.
The reason we love punch as a Christmas Day drink option, is that it saves you time having to mix individual drinks which means you can spend more time chillaxing with your guests. You can make it as boozy or non-boozy as you like (or make one of each) plus there are SO MANY different options to suit a range of tastes! You can make it look pretty by adding slices of fresh seasonal fruit/vegetables along with herbs such as mint, and your guests will enjoy being able to serve themselves when they feel like a top up!
We have decided to share with you our favourite punch recipe, for its simplicity, freshness of flavour and broad appeal. However google will provide you with a never-ending list of options. We hope you love it as much as we do!
